Pelican Holiday Lights hangs Christmas lights on Jacksonville homes so the people who live in them don't have to. We design the display, bring commercial-grade LED, install it, keep it lit through the season and take it down in January.
We started with a simple observation: in Northeast Florida there are plenty of companies that sell landscape lighting and a few that sell permanent systems, but almost nobody whose whole job each fall is hanging seasonal lights on houses and taking them down again. That is the job we do — on rooflines, on tile and metal roofs, on sabal palms and live oaks, on front doors and porch rails.
We are an independent, local, insured crew working Duval, St. Johns and Clay, from Mandarin to St. Augustine and out to the beaches.
What we don't claim
We don't claim decades in business or thousands of homes — we're a new brand and we'd rather earn reviews than invent them. We don't claim an electrical license: seasonal displays are plug-in commercial LED with no changes to your home's wiring, and any permanent system that needs a new outlet or hard-wiring is connected by a licensed electrician partner.
Why a pelican?
The brown pelican is the bird of the First Coast — on every pier from Mayport to the St. Augustine inlet, gliding over the waves at Jax Beach. It is patient, it works in a crew and it carries a lot more than it looks like it should. A pelican in a Santa hat with a string of C9s in its bill seemed like the right mascot for a company that hangs Christmas lights under palm trees.
